From one idea to your first draft

A practical first session: premise, direction, proposal and review.

Start with a person who wants something and an obstacle that makes it difficult. Add a place, a time and a consequence if the person fails. These details give the AI a scene to write instead of an abstract theme.

Put plot material in the idea field and instructions in the author field. A direction such as “use first person, preserve the brother’s name, stop before the confrontation” is more useful than asking for a perfect novel.

Choose the output language and a manageable section length. Read the proposal before accepting it. When a passage is useful, save it to your account and continue in the studio.

Keep a long novel coherent

Use a chapter path, a story bible and concrete scene goals.

Plan a few major turns before expanding a long manuscript: the event that starts the conflict, a discovery that changes the plan, a costly failure and the choice that resolves the conflict.

Give each chapter a purpose. A chapter should change the situation, reveal important information or force a decision. If a scene repeats facts without changing anything, combine it with a stronger scene.

Use the studio’s character and world notes to record facts already established. Keep future possibilities separate from completed events. Read the chapter summaries when checking chronology and relationships.

Make a scene playable

Write what an audience can see and hear.

A screenplay scene begins with a place, a time and an immediate situation. Introduce action in present tense. Use character cues for dialogue and brief directions only when a line needs clarification.

Give the people in the scene different intentions. A conversation becomes dramatic when one person wants information while another wants to hide it, or when agreement comes at a cost.

For stage work, consider what can happen in the available performance space. For a video, connect each spoken passage to a useful visual. Choose the corresponding template before drafting.

Write a memoir without inventing your life

Use questions to distinguish memory, interpretation and uncertain details.

Collect concrete memories first: who was there, where the event took place, what happened and what you remember feeling. A small detail often carries more emotional weight than a broad claim.

Use interview mode to ask for missing details. AI questions can help you remember; they cannot confirm what happened. Leave uncertain dates or dialogue marked for review.

Decide whether to use real names or pseudonyms. Before sharing, check personal details and claims about other people. Separate what you witnessed from what you later heard or inferred.

Revise in three passes

Structure first, continuity second, sentences last.

On the first pass, check whether the central conflict develops and the ending pays off the opening. Move or remove scenes that do not advance the story.

On the second pass, check names, timeline, places, viewpoint and character knowledge. Keep a short log of unresolved questions. Do not polish a scene that may still need a structural rewrite.

On the final pass, read aloud. Trim repeated description, clarify pronouns and vary sentence rhythm. Accept AI rewrites only after comparing them with the original voice.

Prepare a manuscript for sharing

A final review of text, permissions, facts and export.

Read the complete accepted draft once without generating new text. Fix unresolved placeholders and confirm that chapter headings and character names are consistent.

Check factual claims, quotations, personal information and material taken from other sources. An AI-generated draft does not remove your responsibility to review what you publish.

Download a Markdown or text backup. Personalized books here are digital manuscripts; printing and distribution require a separate provider. Before entering a contest, read the organizer’s current AI policy and submission rules.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get and promote my own writing site?

Apply on the partner page with a name, address and introduction. After administrator approval, customise your logo, banner and colour, then copy your public link and editable promotion text. Customer attribution and verified settlement records appear in your dashboard. Link clicks alone do not generate earnings.

Apply and see how it works
Which writing tool should I choose?

Use Story for a short narrative, Novel for chapter-based fiction, Book for nonfiction and Script for film or stage scenes. Title, Plot and Prompt tools help before drafting. Start with one clear brief; each tool has its own field guide.

Compare creative tools
How do I develop a full novel?

Plan characters and major turns first. Generate and review a manageable opening, then use Continue in studio for chapter-based writing. The studio offers five-chapter short and twenty-chapter long projects. A single creative-tool generation is a section, not a finished full book.

Read the novel field guide
How do I give the AI specific instructions?

Put story material in Your idea or source notes. Use Author instructions for what should happen, the tone, what must stay unchanged and where the scene should stop. Choose the output language, genre and viewpoint separately.

Try a clear creative brief
Can I bring my existing manuscript?

Creative tools import TXT or Markdown up to 100 KB and 24,000 characters per section. The studio also accepts TXT or Markdown up to 2 MB. Use the accepted-draft field for a manuscript you want to revise, and keep a backup before switching projects.

Open manuscript editor
Where are my manuscripts saved?

Save to my account stores an accepted draft privately on the server after sign-in. Reopen it from My saved documents. Inputs are also recovered on this browser, but device recovery does not replace an account save. Download a backup when moving devices.

Read save and recovery guidance
Can I recover an earlier version?

Changed account saves keep up to eight previous manuscript texts. Open a saved document, choose Saved versions, restore a text into the editor and save it again after review. The studio separately keeps browser snapshots.

Learn about saved versions
Will a new proposal overwrite my manuscript?

Generated proposals remain separate until you accept them. Continue appends the accepted proposal; Draft and Rewrite replace the accepted manuscript when you choose Use as draft. Read the proposal first and save or export work you want to retain.

What should I do when generation fails?

Your accepted manuscript is preserved when a request fails. Check the visible error, sign in if requested and retry after a temporary service problem. Reduce a long request to one section. Provider content restrictions can still prevent a response.

Which output languages are available?

Choose English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Indonesian, Vietnamese or Thai in Output language. This controls generated text. The interface language selector is a separate setting.

Can I edit and use a template?

Select a book, script or character worksheet, fill in its fields and download your edited copy. Use my edited template in AI tool transfers your actual notes into the connected tool. Review the notes before generating.

What script formats can I write?

The script tool supports film screenplay, TV drama and stage-play formats. Supply the setting, characters and opposing goals, then choose the format before generating. Review scene headings, visible action and dialogue cues.

How do I sign in?

Google sign-in is available. You can also use an existing SecretBook ID and password. Choose an enabled option on the sign-in page; methods shown as unavailable are not connected.

Does ordinary text writing use credits?

Text writing uses 1,000 monthly free credits first. Successful requests settle actual token usage at standard provider rates × 10, converted to whole credits. Unused reservations are released and failed requests are not charged. Character, image and voice services have separate prices. Check the writing balance before starting.

How does USDT top-up work?

Open billing and use the server-generated order. Follow that order’s BSC network, recipient and exact USDT amount; confirmations are checked before credits are granted. Refer to the live order for current payment details.

Can I order a printed personalized book?

Personalized Books creates a digital manuscript. Printing and shipping are not connected. Export and review the text, then arrange physical printing with a provider of your choice.
