How to write
Enter an idea or a draft and start writing. Your manuscript opens in one writing desk, with four next directions and optional settings.
SECRETBOOK WRITING GUIDE
AI novel writer: continue your draft without losing the story
Bring your own opening or describe the scene you want to write. SecretBook helps you continue fiction, develop dialogue and revise prose in a chapter-based writing space. Your premise and instructions guide the next passage. Review the result for continuity and voice before accepting it as part of your novel.
How to get a useful first draft
- Paste an opening draft or describe your current scene. Include the viewpoint, the characters present and any facts that must stay consistent.
- Give a concrete continuation instruction, such as revealing a clue through dialogue or slowing down an important decision. Watch the writing status as sections are saved.
- At the end of a section, review four possible directions or write your own. Continue the current chapter or begin a new one when time, place or the dramatic question changes.
A prompt you can adapt
Continue from the moment the locksmith finds a familiar key in the stranger’s envelope. Keep the first-person voice. Let him discover why the key matters through a tense conversation, and leave the stranger’s identity unresolved.
Compare the continuation with the final paragraph of your draft. Check tense, speaker names, the location of the key and what each person already knows. If a fact changes, correct the passage or add the missing instruction before continuing.
An AI writing assistant for revision
Use small, specific revision goals: make a speaker’s intention clearer, replace repeated descriptions with action, or strengthen the transition between scenes. Review a proposed change in the context of the surrounding prose. Your decisions about voice, meaning and pacing remain part of the editing process.
What makes four story directions useful?
Each direction should lead to a different consequence for this particular scene. Compare who acts next, what information changes and what new obstacle appears. If the suggestions do not fit your plan, use the separate writing instruction field to specify the event you want. Provider errors can prevent tailored suggestions; generic fallback directions are labelled separately.
